Drawing Horses

In this workshop we will! explore drawing methods, tools and techniques to draw beautiful Horses. With great exercises, you will gain a stronger confidence when applying these techniques to your work. Our goal will be for you to walk away with new tips, insights, confidence and one or more finished pieces and lots of beautiful studies.

My personal style is a contemporary approach to line study and gesture - it’s what comes naturally to me, but I encourage my students to experiment and work in developing their own style.

OUTLINE and WHAT YOU NEED:

Pencil, Charcoal pencil or Charcoal stick, Drawing paper, Eraser, Kneaded Eraser, paper blender, brush, fixative.

Optional supplies: thin sketch paper such as bond paper for initial drawings, masking tape, charcoal.
