Drawing Perspective

This workshop will! lay out the basic principles and rules of Perspective. With simple theory and great exercises, you will gain a stronger confidence when applying these rules to any drawing. We will look at One point, Two point and Three point perspective and how to identify and use them in our work. We will also look at light and shadow studies. Our goal is for you to walk away with new tips and one or more finished pieces and lots of beautiful studies.

My personal style is a contemporary approach to line study and gesture - it’s what comes naturally to me, but I encourage my students to experiment and work in developing their own style.

OUTLINE and WHAT YOU NEED:

Graphite pencils ( set of 4 - 2H, HB, 2B and 4B), Drawing paper Pad Canson 11x14inches 60 page, Ruler, Eraser, Ink pen, color pencils.

Optional supplies: thin sketch paper such as bond paper for initial drawings, masking tape, charcoal.
